We are a high-tech software company headquartered in Austin, TX, with over 4,500 worldwide employees.Check us out here: As ourAssembler III, you'll support HID's successby: Performing electro-mechanical assembly of ID card printers and subassemblies following detailed work instructions, bills of material (BOM), and production travelers. Assembling mechanical and electrical components including frames, harnesses, motors, print mechanisms, and related hardware using standard hand and power tools. Completing product builds with a high level of accuracy, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and configuration per specifications. Executing functional testing and basic troubleshooting to validate product performance and identify defects or build issues. Recording production data accurately, including build status, test results, and quality checks. Identifying and escalating quality or material issues to support first-pass yield and continuous improvement efforts. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workstation in accordance with 5S and safety standards. Collaborating with team members, leads, and support functions (quality, engineering, materials) to meet daily production targets. Supporting rework, repair, and process improvement activities as needed. Following work instructions and production travelers. Utilizing BOMs and configuration-driven assembly processes. Operating basic testing equipment. Demonstrating strong attention to detail and quality. Working comfortably with repetitive builds and product variation. YourExperienceand Background include: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 1-2 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred Experience in high-mix / low to medium volume assembly environments preferred Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
