Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high-quality nursing care and supports patients in various healthcare settings. This role requires a commitment to patient care excellence and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Schedule

This position offers variable shifts, including:

12:00 PM - 12:30 AM
3:00 PM - 3:30 AM

Expect to work between 36 to 48 hours per week.

Education and Work Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
Previous experience in an acute care facility is preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required.
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification consistent with policy requirements is required.
AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ARC Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is required.
AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ARC Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is required.

Key Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

Providing direct patient care and ensuring adherence to treatment protocols.
Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Monitoring and documenting patient progress and response to treatments.
Educating patients and their families on health management and care plans.
Participating in professional development activities to enhance nursing skills.

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Familiarity with EPIC systems is required.
