We are innovative, creative, and continuously improving. Job Description:We are looking for Adolescent Medicine Physicians to provide medical care to adolescents from 12-21 years of age. The physician will work with a multi-disciplinary team to care for,examine, diagnose and treat adolescent patients while providing quality, culturally competent, innovative medicine. The physician will also focus on explaining procedures and discussing test results on prescribed treatments with patient and advise patients and community concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention. The physician will collaborate with and non-physician providers (NP, PA, CNM, etc). The physician will perform other job-related duties as required by departmental needs/demands.Experience and Skills:• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and completion of accredited residency program• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Adolescent Medicine• Valid NY State license, CDS, DEA, and BLS• Understanding of and passion for Community Healthcare is preferredBenefits:At Urban Health Plan, we value our team and foster a positive, fun work environment!
