Our multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive outpatient behavioral health care with a focus on integrity, innovation, and inclusivity. We are seeking a Part-Time Therapist (LPC, LPC-A, LCSW, LMSW, LCDC, or LCDC-I) to join our dynamic clinical team.

Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required. Candidates who are proficient in speaking, reading, and writing both English and Spanish are strongly encouraged to apply.

Position Summary

The Part-Time Therapist will provide individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy services, including facilitating therapeutic groups within our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The therapist will also be responsible for completing required clinical assessments, treatment planning, treatment plan reviews, and other clinical documentation in accordance with agency, payer, program, and regulatory requirements.

The therapist will work as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team to provide comprehensive, client-centered care to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Associate-level, intern, or other clinicians requiring supervision must practice under appropriate active supervision in accordance with applicable Texas requirements.

This is a part-time evening and weekend position that is primarily office-based but may include community/field-based services based on client and program needs. Remote and hybrid work options are not available.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy services to assigned clients.
• Provide family therapy services to clients and their families as clinically indicated and assigned.
• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions within the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
• Maintain an assigned individual and family therapy caseload in addition to PHP/IOP group responsibilities.
• Provide therapy services in the office and, when assigned or clinically appropriate, in client homes or other approved community settings.
• Conduct and complete comprehensive clinical assessments, including biopsychosocial assessments, ANSA, CANS, and other required behavioral health assessments and screenings as applicable.
• Develop and complete Master Treatment Plans (MTPs) based on identified client needs, diagnoses, goals, and recommended services.
• Complete Treatment Plan Reviews (TPRs) and update treatment goals, objectives, interventions, and recommendations based on client progress and continued clinical needs.
• Complete all required clinical documentation accurately, thoroughly, and within established timeframes.
• Document individual, family, and group therapy services in accordance with agency, payer, Medicaid, Medicare, grant, and regulatory requirements, as applicable.
• Provide substance use counseling and interventions when appropriate based on licensure, credential, and assigned caseload.
• Monitor client progress and make appropriate clinical recommendations regarding treatment needs, level of care, continued services, and discharge planning.
• Participate in client staffing, treatment team meetings, case consultation, and multidisciplinary care coordination.
• Collaborate with psychiatric providers, nursing staff, case managers, QMHPs, behavioral health technicians, and other members of the treatment team.
• Provide appropriate referrals and connect clients and families to community-based resources and supportive services.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant client records and ensure required clinical documentation is completed within established deadlines.
• Maintain compliance with all applicable Texas licensing, credentialing, ethical, supervision, confidentiality, and professional practice requirements.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and consultation sessions when required based on license or credential.
• Maintain required continuing education and remain current with professional ethics, clinical standards, and applicable licensure or credentialing requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• Current and active Texas license or credential in at least one of the following: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), or Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern (LCDC-I).
• For any license or credential that requires clinical supervision, the applicant must have active supervision in place with an appropriately qualified and approved Texas supervisor and must maintain required supervision throughout employment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required. Applicants who are bilingual must be able to effectively read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in both English and Spanish.
• Strong interpersonal, clinical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in clinical assessments such as ANSA, CANS, biopsychosocial assessments, and DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria, as applicable to the clinician’s scope of practice. Training may be provided for specific agency-required assessments when needed.
• Knowledge of treatment planning, clinical documentation, therapeutic interventions, and behavioral health service delivery.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed, person-centered, and culturally responsive practices.
• Ability and willingness to provide individual therapy, family therapy, and PHP/IOP group therapy as required functions of the position.
• Ability and willingness to provide services in approved community/field settings when assigned based on client and program needs.
• Commitment to ethical practice, professional development, timely clinical documentation, and ongoing clinical supervision when applicable.

Additional Requirements

• Successful completion of required background checks and pre-employment screening.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain and maintain certification as required.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and standard office software, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to complete required clinical documentation accurately and within established deadlines, including biopsychosocial assessments, Master Treatment Plans (MTPs), Treatment Plan Reviews (TPRs), progress notes, and other required clinical documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, families, and diverse populations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary behavioral health team.
• Reliable attendance and ability to maintain an established part-time schedule based on assigned client and program needs.
• Ability and availability to work evenings and weekends as required for this position.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and reliable transportation for community/field-based assignments.
• Current automobile insurance as required for employees who provide community/field-based services.
• Ability and willingness to travel locally to client homes and other approved community locations when assigned.

Work Environment and Schedule

This is a part-time evening and weekend position that is primarily office-based but may include community/field-based services based on client and program needs. Remote and hybrid work options are not available.

Evening and weekend availability is required. The therapist must be available to provide scheduled individual therapy, family therapy, and PHP/IOP group therapy services during evening and weekend hours based on assigned client and program needs.

Community/field-based services may include providing assigned services in client homes and other approved community settings. Local travel may therefore be required depending on caseload and program needs.

Specific days and hours will be established based on the therapist’s availability and the needs of the program and assigned clients. Applicants will be asked to provide their specific evening and weekend availability during the hiring process.

Work schedules, caseload assignments, productivity expectations, office and community/field assignments, and service requirements may be established or modified by the organization based on client needs, program requirements, payer requirements, and operational needs.
