Account Manager Advanced Surgery

In the Business Unit Advanced Surgery, we develop and distribute innovative surgical solutions that reduce complications from bleeding and improve healing processes—such as hemostatic products, tissue sealants, and sealers.

Your Tasks

• Responsibility: You will independently manage your sales territory, maintain existing customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities in the hospital sector.
• Consultation with Depth: You will accompany surgical procedures, conduct product training and workshops, and position Baxter as a trusted partner for surgeons and medical staff.
• Strategic Action: Based on thorough customer analysis, you will develop individual strategies for revenue growth, conduct price and revenue analyses, and plan measures for sustainable profitability.
• Building Networks: You will maintain relationships with influencers, decision-makers in purchasing, pharmacy, and hospital management—thus fostering long-term partnerships.
• Driving Innovation: You will accompany the introduction of new products through conceptual product testing and support scientific events, P2P workshops, and symposia.
• Living Cooperation: In close coordination with Marketing, Medical, Supply Chain, and Bids & Tenders, you will drive business development in your region.

Your Profile

• Completed studies in the medical, natural sciences, economic, or health economic fields—especially welcome are recent graduates directly from university, particularly medical graduates.
• Pharmacy representative (IHK) or knowledge according to § 75 AMG (can be acquired by recent graduates).
• First practical experience in a clinical environment is advantageous, but not a prerequisite.
• Enthusiasm for working in the operating room environment and direct exchange with surgeons.
• High level of initiative, willingness to learn, and strong communication and presentation skills.
• Secure handling of digital tools and good English language skills.
