We Promise to fight for their greatest good." As directed by the provider, the LPN assists the provider and performs appropriate tests and procedures. The LPN is responsible for administrative tasks for the health and wellness center and may assist the Patient Advocate in employee engagement and outreach.Clinic Address: 6543 MS-15, Ecru, Mississippi, 38841 Schedule: Friday 6am-5pm-1 hr lunchEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAssists with and documents treatments ordered and supervised by the provider or registered nurse.Lists all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions, as indicated by the provider. Transcribes patient orders including, but not limited to, laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications.Interviews patients, measure vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients and performs select clinical duties.Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.Performs basic inventory management of supplies and assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.Required Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesAssociate degree and active certification as an LPN or LVNCurrent certification in Basic Life SupportMinimum one-year clinical experience as LPNRecent experience drawing blood.Knowledge of HIPAAPreferred Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively and maintain working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.Ability to prioritize needs and plan work accordingly.Must be able to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screen.Proactive MD is firmly committed to creating a diverse workplace and is proud to provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity and/or expression, sexual orientation, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, genetics, marital status, amnesty status, or veteran status applicable to state and federal laws.
