Technical Writer

The Technical Writer provides critical editing, formatting, and documentation support to the engineering team to ensure full compliance with medical device industry standards. In this role, you will focus on refining, standardizing, and organizing high-level technical documentation, including project plans, design inputs, verification and validation protocols, test steps, and technical reports. By bridging complex engineering concepts and structured record-keeping, you will help maintain a comprehensive documentation library and establish standardized manufacturing and servicing procedures essential for medical device development. Responsibilities

• Project & Design Documentation: Collaborate directly with engineering staff to document project plans, requirements/specifications, design reviews, and design outputs.

• Protocol & Report Editing: Perform editorial reviews and formatting on verification/validation protocols, specific requirement test steps, and engineering technical reports.

• Standardization: Integrate technical information into standardized report formats to ensure consistency and compliance.

• Asset Management: Develop and maintain an organized library of example images and reference materials for use in manufacturing and servicing procedures.
