Job Description
Travel Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled Travel Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for a 13-week assignment. The successful candidate will be well-versed in the demands of a fast-paced medical/surgical tele unit and capable of providing high-quality patient care.

Key Details:

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Max RTO: 1 week, with the option to add a week at the end of the contract
Floating: Required
Block Scheduling: Available

Responsibilities:

Provide care for patients with a variety of diagnoses
Perform essential nursing duties including starting IVs, placing NG tubes, and inserting Foley catheters
Care for patients requiring continuous bladder irrigation
Maintain effective communication with team members and patients

Qualifications:

Current RN Indiana Licensure
Certifications: BLS and ACLS
Minimum of 2 years' nursing experience in a similar role
Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred
Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6

Unit Information:

Beds in Unit: 25 beds with a 12-bed overflow unit
Scrubs: Navy Blue
