Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Overview: Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Location: Lewiston, ME or Bridgton, ME Department: Nuclear Medicine Shifts Available: Days Pay: up to $3,200- $3,600 gross per week; equivalent to $80.00-$90.00 per hour. Responsibilities:

• Works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide high‑quality imaging
• Supports the Radiologist during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Performs and assists with nuclear medicine imaging procedures
• Processes and transmits images to PACS

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
2. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
3. At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine techn.ologist required
4. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
5. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
6. Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.
7. Current BCLS (AHA) required.
