Business Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to partner with business and technology teams to define, document, and deliver technology solutions that support business objectives. This role is responsible for leading requirements gathering, translating business needs into actionable product deliverables, supporting Agile delivery, and ensuring high-quality implementation throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead requirements gathering through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and business process analysis. Elicit, analyze, document, and manage functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring traceability from business needs through implementation. Translate business requirements into features, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, data requirements, and technical specifications. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and partner with technology teams to deliver effective solutions. Analyze business processes, perform gap and impact analysis, and recommend improvements. Gather and incorporate Voice of Customer feedback into product enhancements and backlog prioritization. Support Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, product demonstrations, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Develop test scenarios, validate requirements, and ensure solution quality through successful acceptance testing. Create process maps, workflow diagrams, and system documentation. Provide ongoing product support and demonstrate new features to internal and external stakeholders. Mentor junior Business Analysts and provide guidance on requirements management and best practices. Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Analyst within Agile software development environments. Strong experience with requirements elicitation, business process analysis, stakeholder management, and Agile delivery. Proven ability to translate complex business needs into detailed product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications. Strong data analysis skills with experience defining data requirements, analyzing business impacts, and supporting data-driven decision making. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, written, and verbal communication skills. Experience facilitating discussions between business and technical teams to drive consensus and successful project delivery. Experience with client-server, web-based, and object-oriented applications is preferred. Tools & Technologies Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Jira Confluence SharePoint Apptio Experience with requirements management tools such as Rational RequisitePro is a plus.
