Growing together. Locations: 20 Wall St Burlington, MA 01803 Department: Laboratory Schedule: Full time, 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday, 11:45am - 8:15pm with rotating weekends and Holidays Primary Responsibilities: Under general supervision, performs routine and special laboratory assays of patient specimens (e.g., body fluids, exudates, skin scrapings or surgical specimens), exercising independent judgment when evaluating the validity of test results prior to result reporting Provides data for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease Operates and calibrates all equipment in the area of specialization, evaluates the validity of laboratory data, records tests results, communicates with physicians, pathologists and nursing staff regarding test procedures and results You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualification: Associates degree in a laboratory science (chemical or biological science) or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution; or equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the requirements defined in CLIA regulations Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in any discipline or equivalent from an accredited institution Certified as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), by the ASCP or equivalent certification (those without Certification are typically expected to become certified within 6 months of date of hire) Will also accept certifications meeting the federal requirements of CLIA 88 1+ years of laboratory experience Proven excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex clinical and instrument problems Provenaccurate, reliable, and able to work well under pressure and to finish a task once started Provensolid communication skills, both in writing and speaking Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
