- Strong labor and delivery experience
- Recent LDRP or postpartum experience
- Comfortable working with obstetricians independently


Description:
Registered Nurse position in Women's Services, focusing on labor and delivery.
Responsible for caring for laboring and postpartum patients, as well as newborns.
Work in a unit with 6 beds dedicated to labor and delivery.
Manage high-risk and critical patients, including those undergoing induction or experiencing hypertensive crises.
Stabilize patients prior to transfer if necessary.
Must be able to manage laboring patients autonomously, especially during nights and weekends.
Experience with newborn stabilization is essential.
Two Registered Nurses on each shift, with charge nurse support when available.
Required to titrate drips, including magnesium and Pitocin, plus insulin if transferring out.
Anesthesia available on-call after hours with a 30-minute response time.
Electric fetal monitoring system in use.
Self-scheduling with core staff for shifts.
Weekend and holiday requirements are equitably distributed.
Must be comfortable with floating to assist with safety as required.
Dress code includes surgical scrubs unless involved in a delivery.
Facility has a radius rule; candidates should reside outside the specified distance.
