The role involves: Providing caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients. Offering personal care services and support that helps clients develop appropriate daily living skills and independent activities of daily living. Assisting with meal preparation, clean‑up, and food purchasing, while encouraging client participation. Passing medications and performing delegated medical care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. Transporting clients to and from the program as necessary. Maintaining compliance with established productivity standards for documentation. Training Program With our MHACBO‑accredited training program, you will earn CEUs toward applicable mental health certifications while attending required, paid training and receiving qualified clinical supervision to gain on‑the‑job experience. Work Schedule Sunday through Thursday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm (Full Time, Swing). What You’ll Make $20.60 – $21.86 per hour DOE/Credentials. Additional 5% language differential offered for bilingual or multilingual candidates. About the Program Coos Crisis Resolution Center (CCRC) is a 6‑bed, licensed crisis residential facility serving adults experiencing a mental health crisis. The program offers both individual and shared rooms, a kitchen/dining area, a living room, a small reading area, and a spacious back deck and yard. What You’ll Need Caregiving and/or mental health experience (personal or professional) preferred. A dedication to the wellbeing of each resident and helping them complete their activities of daily living (ADLs) and independent activities of daily living (IADLs). Valid driver's license from your state of residence or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire, maintain a safe driving record, and pass a DHS criminal background check. Physical capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 40 pounds; occasionally use ladders, squat/kneel, and perform other physical tasks. Physical Demands The position requires the ability to frequently talk, listen, use hands and fingers, reach, stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb stairs, lift, carry, push, pull up to 40 pounds, occasionally use ladders, squat/kneel, and perform additional physical tasks. Completion of crisis de‑escalation and CPR trainings is required.
