Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• Minimum 1 year home health experience
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Washington or compact license granting privilege to practice in the state
• Current CPR certification
• Current driver‘s license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle

Assignment Details

• Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, excluding Federal and UHG-recognized holidays
• 40 hours per week
• No on-call requirement
• Coverage area includes Pierce County
• Mileage is reimbursed between visits, from first patient to last patient
• May float to other nearby home health agencies as needed

Location Highlights

Puyallup offers access to both outdoor recreation and regional city amenities. Downtown Puyallup is home to the Washington State Fair Events Center and is about 15 miles from Tacoma for museums, dining, and waterfront attractions. Mount Rainier National Park is roughly 50 miles southeast, giving travelers access to hiking, scenic drives, and alpine views within about a 1.5-hour trip. Sounder commuter rail service connects Puyallup to Seattle and Tacoma, and the area also provides nearby access to the Puyallup River Trail and South Hill shopping and dining districts.
