We are seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join an established, growing restaurant concept known for seasonal, farm-to-table dining, scratch cooking, and a strong commitment to hospitality.

What You’ll Do

As Assistant General Manager, you will be a key leader in the daily operation of the restaurant, partnering closely with the management and culinary teams to deliver excellent hospitality and consistent service.

• Lead the dining room and remain highly visible during service
• Ensure guests receive warm, attentive, and professional hospitality
• Oversee opening and closing procedures and smooth shift execution
• Manage service flow, pacing, table turns, reservations, and floor plans
• Recruit, onboard, train, schedule, coach, and develop front-of-house team members
• Build a positive, accountable, team-oriented culture
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues professionally
• Partner closely with kitchen leadership to ensure seamless service
• Assist with staffing, labor control, budgeting, and cost management
• Monitor sales and labor performance against business goals
• Assist with liquor inventory, ordering, and product rotation
• Handle cash management, POS reporting, and daily administrative responsibilities
• Support payroll, scheduling, sales reporting, and inventory systems
• Maintain high standards for cleanliness, organization, food safety, and sanitation
• Support seasonal menu rollouts and staff education
• Uphold hospitality, service, and operational standards across the restaurant

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably as an AGM, Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role
• Full-service restaurant experience strongly preferred
• Experience in a high-volume or upscale dining environment is a plus
• Strong front-of-house leadership and guest-service skills
• Proven ability to recruit, train, coach, and develop restaurant teams
• Comfortable managing service flow and making decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Working knowledge of labor, sales, inventory, and cost controls
• Comfortable using POS and restaurant management systems
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, scheduling, payroll, and reporting systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
