Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will prepare and administer radioactive radiopharmaceuticals, operate and maintain radiation detection and imaging equipment, adhere to radiation safety protocols, and assist with cross-sectional imaging fusion as required. Candidates will perform patient scheduling and documentation in NMIS/RIS/HIS systems and communicate imaging results and procedures effectively with physicians and care teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology or related field.
  • Current registration in Nuclear Medicine (NMTCB or ARRT (NM)).
  • At least one advanced certification and current registry: NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), ARRT(CT), or ARRT(MR).
  • Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in molecular/nuclear imaging preferred, including SPECT/CT, PET, MR, or optical fusion imaging.
  • Working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine Information Systems (NMIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, medical terminology, and radiation safety regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients and multidisciplinary staff and to maintain professional appearance and conduct.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NIH Human Subjects Protection in Research Certification preferred.
  • Experience in academic hospital or high-volume tertiary care settings preferred.

Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 08:00 - 16:00 (8-hour shift).
  • Workweek: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
  • No weekends. No major holidays.
