SUMMARY

Garofalo, Schreiber, Storm & Grant, Chartered (GSSG), a Chicago-based defense law firm, is seeking a part-time, or Of Counsel attorney for its subrogation, employers’ and civil liability practice. GSSG is an AV rated, progressive law firm serving the needs of employers in the State of Illinois, and their insurance carriers in workers’ compensation matters, subrogation, and employers’ liability. We are a small, yet growing, well established law firm with a fantastic team. Candidates Should Possess:

· Must possess a J.D. from an accredited ABA law school

· Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois

· Must have experience in subrogation, employers’ and civil liability with trial and jury trial experience

Job Responsibilities and Expectations:

· Ability to manage subrogation, employers’ and civil liability matters;

· Initial file evaluations;

· Preparation of pleadings;

· Preparation of written and oral discovery;

· Depositions;

· Trial preparation, and trial appearances.

Salary commensurate with experience, production and potential. There is a possibility for a benefit package, for especially qualified candidates.
