Slot Technician Supervisor
Responsible for the direct supervision of the Slot Technicians and the overall repair and maintenance of all electrical and mechanical slot machines under the direction of the Slot Tech Manager. Interacts effectively with the public and Team Members. Performs excellent guest service at all times. Develops and maintains positive guest relations and ensures the safety and security of all guests and Team Members. Possesses thorough technical knowledge of slot machines and all slot peripheral equipment. Diagnoses and identifies printed circuit board problems for repair. Researches and diagnoses slot equipment malfunctions and gives guidance and instruction to Slot Technicians. Assists the Slot Tech Manager in successful supervision of daily activities and work performance of the Slot Technicians. Assists the Slot Tech Manager with required documentation of slot moves, conversions, installs, maintenance and repair logs, purchase orders and requisitions for slot machine parts and supplies, delegating projects and training of Slot Technicians. Assists the Slot Tech Manager in reviewing reports and statistical data for malfunctions or other problems and implements appropriate maintenance and repair lists. Handles guest service and minor guest disputes. Develops, implements and maintains inventory control in the Tech Shop. Maintains a consistent, regular attendance record. Ushers as needed by management for events. Performs any reasonable request made by management.
Directly supervises Slot Tech Staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining Team Members; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

High School diploma or GED required. Five or more years experience in electronics and maintenance of technical equipment required. Experience maintaining gaming devices or slot machines preferred. Two years experience at the supervisory or management level and/or combination of both. Electronic degree preferred. Must be computer literate. Must be fluent with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Access. Must be able to work effectively with fellow Team Members as well as management and Team Members from all departments. Must possess supervisory and good interpersonal skills.
Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to speak effectively before groups of guests or Team Members. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The Team Member is occasionally required to sit; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The Team Member must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member regularly works near electrical and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. When on the Casino floor, the Team Member will be exposed to a smoke-filled environment.
