Resident Assistant

Resident Assistant Job Summary: The Resident Assistant (RA) provides essential care and support to residents in a manner that promotes dignity, comfort, and independence. The RA assists with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitors resident well-being, and ensures a safe and supportive environment in accordance with facility policies and state regulations. Current Open Positions: Days: Full-Time, 12-hour shifts (2 openings) Afternoons: Full-Time 8-hour shifts and Part-Time 8-hour shifts Midnights: Full-Time 12-hour shifts and Full-Time 8-hour shifts Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Provide companionship and emotional support Observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition to nursing staff Assist with meals and encourage proper hydration Maintain a clean and organized resident environment Promote resident safety through proper use of equipment and fall prevention techniques Escort residents to activities and appointments as needed Follow individualized care plans and accurately document care provided Communicate effectively with residents, families, and fellow team members Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred Previous caregiving or assisted living experience preferred, but not required Compassion for working with older adults Basic knowledge of infection control and resident rights Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Benefits: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Paid Vacation and Sick Time 401(k) Retirement Plan Tuition Reimbursement #J-18808-Ljbffr The Orchards at Armada Village
