Manager Accountant, Tax (DALLAS, TX)

Overview:We have a tremendous opportunity for a Manager Accountant to play a key role on our Tax team. We have openings for candidates residing in and around Dallas, Texas. As a highly valued member of our Firm, you will work closely with the Tax team to provide timely, accurate, and reliable completion of client engagements. Come join an organization that focuses on work/life balance for all of our employees!Responsibilities:Prepare and/or review complex business and individual tax returnsDevelop effective working relationships with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance servicesAbility to identify and research tax issues, develop resolutions, and prepare written conclusionsAssist with the developing, training and mentoring of staff and internsRecognize the opportunity to provide new and innovative servicesWillingness to learn new tax skills that the diverse client base at The Bonadio Group offers. Not limited to: public company tax services, banking and financial industry tax services, international, cross-border and expatriate compliance services, and transaction advisory servicesRequired qualifications:A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accountingAn active CPA certificationA minimum of five years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or equivalent experienceAbility and willingness to travelProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with aptitude to learn firm technology, present and futureHours of Operation:Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through FridayOur summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and (discretionary) from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on FridayWe pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak timesAt The Bonadio Group, we believe that an inclusive work environment allows all of our people to achieve their greatest potential and the greatest results for our clients and communities.
