Revenue Cycle Supervisor

Position Summary Revenue Cycle Supervisor to support the Radiation/Diagnostic Imaging Department at Texas Oncology located at 3001 E. George Bush Highway Suite 100, Richardson, Texas. Full‑time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily revenue cycle operations covering patient entry to accurate adjudication: appointment scheduling, insurance eligibility, charge processing, claim submission and processing, payment processing, collections, accounts receivable management, denial management, reporting, auditing, coding, credentialing, customer service, training and development, analytics, and all other revenue cycle activities. Resolve escalated and unique revenue cycle issues. Ensure quality work, meet deadlines, and adhere to SOPs. Regularly audit staff work for compliance. Prepare monthly revenue cycle financial analysis including aged accounts; monitor and assess business metrics to refine processes and improve performance. Champion new initiatives, act as change catalyst, implement changes, and address difficult issues. Develop, implement, and maintain revenue cycle training materials; conduct training on SOPs, systems, metrics, and regulations. Coordinate front‑office duties including scheduling, check‑in, and co‑pay/co‑insurance collection. Attract, assess, and develop staff; provide coaching, feedback, performance reviews, salary recommendations, and progressive discipline. Perform other duties as requested. Qualifications Associate degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent OR four years revenue cycle experience. At least four (4) years of medical revenue cycle experience with a consistent track record of achieving metrics. Two years experience managing, delegating, and following up on work priorities of others. Strong knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections with CPT, ICD‑10, and HCPCS coding, and general understanding of managed‑care products (HMO, PPO, etc). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Physical Demands The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions. Requires the employee to be present during regularly scheduled business hours, sit or stand, talk or hear, handle and lift patients, manual and finger dexterity, eye‑hand coordination, standing and walking for extended periods, and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Work Environment Work environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations, and other conditions typical of an oncology clinic.
