Account Director - Medical Communications

To support a growing portfolio of oncology publications and medical affairs programs, the full-time Account Director - Medical Communications will manage client relationships, ensure delivery excellence, and drive account growth in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Lead client relationships and ensure delivery excellence across oncology publications and medical affairs workstreams Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic and commercial insight that supports client objectives and strengthens partnerships Oversee the successful delivery of programmes, ensuring projects meet quality standards, budgets, and timelines Required qualifications Experience in a client services role at Senior Account Manager, Associate Account Director, or Account Director level within a medical communications agency Experience supporting both publications and medical affairs programmes Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while providing strategic counsel Strong commercial awareness and understanding of account growth, forecasting, and financial management Passionate about delivering meaningful work that helps improve patient outcomes through effective healthcare communications
