Job Description
RN - Telemetry

Schedule

12-hour Nights; 1900-0730, 3 days per week with every other weekend rotation.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks; Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in the state.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry experience.
• Experience with TR Band, cardiac drips (Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem), and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process.
• Experience with Epic EMR system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and monitoring in a telemetry unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist with patient assessments and document care in the medical record.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care plans.

Compliance / Notes

Orientation is required for the first 5 days and will include training on the facility's policies and EMR system. Background check and credentialing must be completed prior to the start date.
