Job Title: Surgical Technician

Certifications: BLS, CST preferred

Must-Have:
- Competent to take Neuro-trauma call
- Experience with cranial procedures
- Experience in orthopedic total joint and level II trauma
- Ability to scrub
- General OR experience

Description:
We are seeking a Surgical Technician with a strong background in neuro and orthopedic specialties.
Candidates should have experience working independently in cranial procedures.
Experience in orthopedic total joint and orthopedic trauma is essential.
Candidates must also be proficient in general OR tasks.
Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care.
Refusal to comply will lead to contract termination.
The unit has a total of 11 operating rooms.
The average number of cases per day is 18.
Common cases include orthopedics, urology, ENT, and neuro procedures.
The facility utilizes Davinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis technology.
Techs are required to work call shifts, with a response time of 15 minutes.
There is a good partnership with surgeons and anesthesia teams, providing a variety of cases and levels of acuity.
Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, a willingness to speak up about patient safety, and a positive attitude.
Flexibility and a willingness to float and assist other areas when necessary are crucial.
Travelers should note that block scheduling is not approved, and they must be adaptable to changing schedules.
