A Laboratory Director opportunity is available at a regional medical center in Alexandria, LA. This leadership role oversees the full scope of laboratory services, including blood bank, chemistry and hematology, and microbiology operations.

The role. The Laboratory Director is responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling all activities across laboratory services. This includes providing administrative leadership to the department, setting operational direction, and ensuring staff are aligned with organizational expectations. The director communicates standards across the laboratory team and drives performance across all lab disciplines from blood bank through microbiology.

What we're looking for.

• Recent acute care laboratory supervisory experience at the manager or supervisor level required; experience overseeing a high FTE count strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a chemical, physical, or biological science
• State licensure as a Medical Technologist required
• Registration with the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) required
