What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ED environment
• Proficiently perform IV starts and manage telemetry monitoring
• Respond effectively to critical patient needs, including stroke and cardiac emergencies
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately within the EPIC electronic health record system
• Respond to diverse emergency cases, including pediatrics and adult patients
• Assist with patient triage, assessment, and stabilization

What You Need

• Valid Ohio RN license or equivalent, current and active
• BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS certifications (current)
• Minimum of 2 years ED experience, including 1 year of travel RN experience
• Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring

• Oncology experience (not required but a plus)
• Experience with EPIC EHR system

About the Assignment This assignment is at a leading facility in Columbus, Ohio, within their Onc Pod Emergency Department. The unit manages diverse emergency cases with a patient ratio of 1:4, delivering critical care in a supportive environment. The role involves float responsibilities, ensuring flexibility and broad clinical exposure.
