WeCare at Foltsbrook is actively seeking a motivated  Occupational Therapist  for our community in  Herkimer, NY . Our  Occupational Therapist will ensure our residents  develop ,  recover or  maintain the  daily living and  work skills with  physical ,  mental  or  developmental  conditions. 

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing

• Assure all therapy is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care

• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers

• Monitor patient response to treatment intervention

• Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Valid license to practice occupational therapy 

• BS degree or greater in occupational therapy

• Current knowledge of treatment principles and practices of occupational therapy

• Ability to continually learn and grow in the profession

• Familiarity with ADL evaluation tools

• Proven working experience as an occupational therapist
