Employee Separation Policy : Any past employee of UPH whether FTE, or PRN for the UPH float pool, cannot work travel in another Market no matter which facility they currently work at, or have worked at within the past 12 months. If they worked travel at UPH (not FTE or PRN), the separation policy does not apply

HOLIDAY update: unless the Unit is closed, your contractor is required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

• NBO: 16 hrs
• EMR : EPIC
• OT/Holiday: 1.15x multiplier
• Call Back: 1.5x multiplier with 2 hr CB minimum
• On Call: ***/hr
• Charge/Precept : ***/hr

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Traveler will be required to float across all campuses; Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran & Iowa Methodist

Unit Info:

• Bed Size: 34
• Patient Types:orthopedics, total joint replacements
• Drips: specific cardiac medicine can be given
• Scrubs: navy blue, solids
• N:P Ratios: Days - 1:5, Nights - 1:6

• 24 months of MS/Medical Surgical experience in a hospital or medical center setting [ required ]
• Ortho/Rehab experience [required]
• experience with types of care: total joints replacement & braces [required]
• 1st time travelers accepted
• EPIC emr experience [required]
• experience administering medication specific to cardiac IV/intravenous push [highly preferred]

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

• Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current MS/Medical Surgical/Med Surg experience [required]
• Skills Checklist must be specific to the discipline listed on the job (Medical Surgical, Medical Surgical/Telemetry) - [required]
• Nursy's must state Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate at time of submission - [required] [document]
• Professional Reference/Reference Check - charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO performance evaluation/reference from within 24 months of today's date [preferred]
• Driver's License [document] [required]
• AHA/ American Heart Association or ARC/client BLS, basic life support - [required]
