Boscov's Housekeeping/ Custodial AssociateAs a Retail Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the building including but not limited to the restrooms, selling floor, office spaces & other common areas.Additional Responsibilities of the Housekeeping Associate include:Present a courteous and professional demeanor to customers and coworkersDusting the selling floor (both high and low)Maintaining the carpets and tile floors utilizing commercial grade equipmentSweep, collect trash and recycle materialPicking up trash from registers & officesDust mop and wet mop floors and vacuum rugsWipe down cafeteria tables, empty trash cans, dry/wet mop floorsClean and sanitize, restock restroom supplies, empty trash cans in restroomsQualifications1-2 years of housekeeping or janitorial experience preferredResourceful self-starter, works well independently as well as part of a teamAbility to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidaysPhysical Requirements/Working Conditions:Moderate lifting (up to 35 lbs.)Sit, stand, and walk for required periods of timeAbility to reach with hands and arms and use hands and fingers to handle objects and operate tools and/or controlsBenefitsStarting rate: $15.15 per hourMedical Benefits401(k) w/ company matchWeekly PayPaid vacationLiberal employee discountWork where people love to shop!
