Operations CoordinatorThe Operations Coordinator is responsible for executing day-to-day operational and administrative activities, using independent judgement to streamline daily operations, coordinate projects and enhance processes. The Operations Coordinator will actively manage routine and semi-routine tasks, including preparing materials, scheduling, supporting inter-department projects, performing assigned project tasks, and ensuring timely completion of work to client satisfaction.What You Will Do:• Executes day-to-day operational and administrative activitieso Assists with preparation of materials, scheduling, supporting inter-departmental projects and interactions.o Follows up with project team and clients to ensure work is completed on schedule and to client's satisfaction.• Identifies opportunities to streamline daily operations, project coordination, and enhance processes.• Develops relationships with internal customers and key stakeholders to identify new opportunities to increase efficiency and enhance collaboration amongst the team.• Communicates with team members and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support various projects and initiatives.• Demonstrates a firm understanding of business and implements opportunities for enhancing effectiveness and efficiencies on the team.• Serves as a mentor and coach to entry-level operations support professionals on establishing rapport with internal clients.What You Will Need:Education and ExperienceMust have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.4-6 years of relevant experience in a clerical or technical support position or a combination of substantial experience and education.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities• Ability to gain, retain, illustrate comprehension of, and transfer knowledge to other members of the team• Ability to actively listen to the needs of internal clients supported by receiving shared information, determining the context and assessing the information both qualitatively and quantitatively to form an opinion on information shared, generating probing questions to better understand, and responding with solutions• Openly accept change as part of business evolution to meet the needs of our clients and support it by serving as a change agent within team• Understands key performance indicators and their significance to the business, and takes action to drive results independently and amongst the team they support• Ability to utilize established rapport with internal clients and key stakeholders to identify new opportunities to increase efficiency and enhance collaboration amongst team and generate operational excellence through anticipation of stakeholders needs and execute accordingly• Must understand assigned responsibilities and hold themself accountable for keeping commitments, including taking responsibility for their actions and behaviors, using root cause analysis to improve performance, actively participating in daily activities, and producing an expected quantity and quality of work• Must be dependable and consistent• Must be an effective multi-tasker utilizing proficient time management skills• Working knowledge of the ABS Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System.Reporting Relationships:Reports to a manager, director, or executive level position and has no direct reports.Working ConditionsWork will normally be performed in an office environment and/or require visits to client sites, which may include manufacturing plants, remote field sites or structures. Client site work will be of a non-manual nature but may require physical activity including walking and climbing.
