Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help residents regain the skills needed for daily living through therapeutic activities, adaptive equipment training, and documentation of progress. Minimum Requirements
Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
Active District of Columbia COTA license or ability to obtain required DC licensure prior to start.
BLS certification from AHA or ARC is required prior to start.
Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a COTA in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
Experience with ADL retraining, durable medical equipment recommendations, and restorative nursing programs preferred.
Competence in documentation within electronic health record systems preferred.

Schedule pattern: 5x8.
