Laboratory Technician -- CHADC5735897

Responsibilities Receive, label, log, and process specimens, including blood, cell, tissue, and body fluid samples Prepare specimens for testing, storage, or transport following laboratory procedures Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with advanced testing as assigned Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), CLIA, CAP, and OSHA guidelines Ensure proper specimen handling, storage, and disposal Identify, document, and report specimen discrepancies or quality issues Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED (Associate degree in laboratory science preferred) Experience handling biological specimens (blood, cells, tissues, etc.) Knowledge of laboratory safety and infection control practices Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to follow written protocols and procedures Experience in clinical, hospital, or research laboratory settings Phlebotomy or specimen processing experience Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) #J-18808-Ljbffr Compunnel Inc.
