Welding Quality Control Inspector

Job Overview Insight Global is looking for a Welding Quality Inspector/Technician to perform welding quality inspections, testing, and verification of plans and materials before, during, and after manufacturing or construction. The role is a 6‑month contract based on‑site in Vancouver, with travel to Gaven HQ in Pittsburgh for training before the start of the assignment on December 1 2025. The position primarily works the second shift (2:30 – 11 p.m.) with potential overtime. Compensation & Schedule Base pay: $33.00/hr – $38.00/hr (based on skills and experience) Shift: 2:30 – 11 p.m. (second shift), overtime possible. Responsibilities Perform welding quality inspections, testing, and verification of plans and materials before, during, and after manufacturing or construction. Ensure compliance with company and customer standards. Read construction drawings and vendor specification sheets. Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures. Qualifications & Experience 3–5 years of experience in the welding industry. Experience with welding quality standards; CWI or CAWI welding certification preferred. Ability to read construction drawings. Proficient in using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, tape measures). Ability to read and interpret vendor specification sheets.
