Production Position at a Craft Distillery in Temperance, MI

Cardinal Staffing is screening for a production position at a small craft distillery in Temperance, MI. If you are thirsty for a fast paced, energetic environment, apply to join their team! Must be able to pass a food safety test and adhere to their strict food safe dress code. MUST be at least 21 years old to apply. This temp-to-hire position runs 6:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Thursday, with OT available. Pay starts at $17/hr.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety and quality guidelines with an elevated sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Produce, pack, and inspect raw materials and finished goods
• Load raw material into equipment; catch, label, stamp, and pack finished goods
• Set up and assemble materials and packaging
• Move raw materials and finished goods to specified areas
• Complete quality assurance throughout the production process
• Initiate immediate quality & supervision reviews for any suspect or defective products and packaging
• Participate in training of new employees
• Uphold standards for cleanliness and safe work environments, ensure your work area’s meet these expectations

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred, with 0-1 year of production or manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong ability to efficiently remain organized, detailed oriented and tactful while communicating
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and independently
