Job Overview The Relationship Development Associate (RDA) manages a dedicated portfolio of customer accounts. The role focuses on proactive account management, quarterly reviews, and strategic engagement with existing clients to increase revenue through upselling. Key Responsibilities Account Management: Serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts, providing support, insights, and solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs. Quarterly Account Reviews: Conduct in-depth, quarterly reviews with each account to assess satisfaction, address needs, and explore new opportunities. Revenue Growth and Upselling: This quota‑carrying role focuses on upselling products exclusively to the existing client base, working toward revenue and commission targets by identifying upsell opportunities. Executive‑Level Engagement: Build relationships at the executive level to understand clients’ strategic goals and align Granite’s products to meet those objectives. Product Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of Granite’s full product range to position and sell the best solutions for each client. Client Communication: Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients to foster trust, offer assistance, and stay updated on evolving needs. Strategic Account Planning: Create account plans to manage client growth, upsell potential, and identify areas for strengthening relationships. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred. 1‑2 plus years of experience in account management, sales, or client relationship roles, ideally focused on upselling or quota‑based growth. Proven ability to build and maintain executive‑level relationships. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage a high volume of accounts. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to understand client business challenges and position solutions effectively. Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Flexibility for occasional travel, if necessary, though travel is not a primary aspect of this role.
