Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

We are seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery. The role requires a commitment to working rotating shifts, including days and nights, for a total of 12 hours per shift. Travelers should expect to work weekends on a rotating basis. Floating may be required for patient safety, and nurses will not take patient assignments while floating. Candidates must provide documentation for any medical or religious exemptions for vaccinations. Candidates must also complete all required compliance documentation and processes before starting. All travelers must commit to completing compulsory fingerprinting requirements. The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Competency in administering medications such as Magnesium Sulfate and Pitocin is essential. The Labor and Delivery unit cares for neonates, adults, and pediatrics. Healthcare team members will provide interdisciplinary support throughout the unit. This position involves working with high-risk labor, postpartum, and women's health patients. Holiday coverage may be required as needed by the facility. Compliance with state licensing requirements is mandatory. The candidate should be able to support patient needs and advocate for their health and well-being.
