Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care techniques.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
• Assist in the management of patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the dentist to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
• Stay current with industry trends and continuing education requirements.
• Provide exceptional patient care and build lasting relationships.

Requirements:

• Valid Texas State Dental Hygienist License.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with dental software and electronic health records.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols.
• Previous experience in a dental office preferred but not required.
