Equipment Maintenance Technician

A growing machine shop is seekig an experienced Machine Maintenance Technician that is responsible for repair and preventative maintenance on CNC machines; identifying potential issues that could interrupt machine uptime, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic components of other production equipment used within the manufacturing environment. Day shift 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and components of various types of machine tools – CNC and conventional machines.
- Install parts and troubleshoot motors and relays.
- Record completion of work orders by documenting in detail the steps taken, parts installed, and repairs performed on all equipment.
- Performed and execute other tasks as assigned.
- Ability to follow all maintenance safety practices. Risk Analysis prior to starting the maintenance tasks and adhere to safety programs.
Requirements
- One year experience in maintenance in a factory or machine shop
- Mechanical aptitude and able to lean quickly (will train)
- Good knowledge of CNC machines and electrical control systems helpful
