As a fully remote position, this role offers you the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a professional work-life balance. You will have access to a sophisticated, cloud-based electronic health records (EHR) system, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards, including those required by Medicaid and Medicare. Engagement with clients occurs in a HIPAA-compliant telehealth setting, providing the tools necessary to deliver secure and effective counseling.

  • Deliver professional counseling services to clients across various modalities, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions.

  • Utilize telehealth tools to conduct virtual counseling sessions, ensuring all interactions are confidential and maintain adherence to HIPAA guidelines.

  • Identify and assess clients’ mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans and strategies to address underlying issues affecting their well-being.

  • Monitor client progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and ensure suitable follow-up care is provided.

  • Engage in ongoing documentation using our cloud-based EHR system to accurately track client progress and compliance with insurance requirements.

  • Participate in regular team meetings to enhance collaborative care approaches and share insights regarding best practices in therapy.

  • Manage scheduling to accommodate a mix of client appointments, including the potential for weekend and evening hours based on client needs and your availability.

Your primary focus will be working with a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with mental health disorders, trauma, and dual diagnosis challenges. You will support clients in addressing personal struggles, developing coping mechanisms, and enhancing their overall quality of life. Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

  • A minimum of three years of experience in providing mental health counseling services, demonstrating expertise in therapeutic best practices.

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively, while maintaining the highest standard of client care.

  • Reliable access to a laptop or desktop computer, high-speed internet, and a web camera to facilitate virtual counseling sessions.

  • Successful completion of a background check prior to employment.
