Health Technician

Job Title

The duties include:

• Performing initial screening of patients including scrubbing of schedule, patient check in, record/report retrieval, recording vital signs and initial complaint.
• Preparing patients for, and assisting providers with, patient exams/procedures as required.
• Completing necessary paperwork as directed.
• Scheduling patients' appointments per clinic routine.
• Preparing examination rooms between patients, cleaning as needed, replacing used equipment/supplies, and assembling equipment/supplies for next patient.
• Ensuring cleanliness and stocking of provider rooms prior to start of the clinic day and at the end of the day.
• Collecting laboratory specimens.
• Performing electrocardiograms and basic lab tests on the premises.
