Shipping And Receiving Clerk

Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. You must be able to oversee document inventory movement, receiving, shipping and storing. This is a position that requires a highly organized personality. You must pay close attention to small details while managing the logistics of a high volume of items entering and leaving the facility. You must be able to lift twenty pounds unaided and be able to bend, crouch, and lift items throughout your shift. Must be experienced with safe forklift operation.

Job duties and Responsibilities

• Weigh and calculate pieces of inventory. Basic math is necessary.
• Store items received in appropriate storage areas, documenting any changes.
• Prepare items for shipping, noting contents, delivery methods, and other logistical details.
• Identify and resolve shipping, storage, or receiving discrepancies as they arise
• Maintain a clearly organized workspace
• Process inventory transactions through software systems on computer and on handheld devices.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Prior warehouse experience (preferred)

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work on site in Elroy, WI
