Pre-K Para-Professional: Support & Growth in Early Ed

This position is for a pre-K para-professional position at RELA. The applicant must pass a drug test and fingerprint screening per FSSA guidelines, along with the mandated criminal background check required for all school employees. Minimum Qualifications Show an interest in working with children of all abilities at the pre-K age level Willingness to work with special education students Willingness to work with a team of principal, interventionists, classroom teacher, and parents with flexibility and a positive attitude Must have highly qualified status (completed at least two years of college (60 credit hours), hold an associate’s degree, OR pass the Indiana State ParaPro Assessment) Per FSSA regulations, a successful applicant must pass a drug screen, background, and fingerprint check Responsibilities Assist the teacher with students academically, socially, and behaviorally Work with small groups of students in a classroom setting; participate in educational training relevant to the students’ needs Assist with students’ program planning and instruction Provide student supervision as needed Other duties as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr Clarksville Community School
