The hotel will introduce a signature Wellbeing by Auberge concept, where skin-health rituals meet cutting-edge therapies in a convivial yet serene setting.The Steward/Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen equipment, dishware, and back-of-house areas. This role is essential to supporting kitchen and restaurant operations by ensuring a steady supply of clean tools, cookware, and service items while maintaining the highest sanitation standards.Wash, sanitize, and polish all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipmentEnsure all cleaning is performed according to food safety and sanitation standardsMaintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing station and surrounding areasOperate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently, ensuring proper chemical usage and water temperaturesSort and properly store clean dishware, cookware, and service items in designated locationsRemove trash, recycling, and waste from kitchen and service areas regularlyClean and sanitize kitchen floors, drains, walls, and work surfaces as neededAssist kitchen team by providing clean equipment and tools in a timely manner during serviceBreak down and clean kitchen equipment at the end of service (grills, ovens, prep stations, etc.)Refill cleaning supplies, chemicals, and sanitizing solutions as neededFollow all HACCP, OSHA, and food safety guidelines at all timesSupport basic kitchen organization and cleanliness throughout shiftAssist with receiving and storing deliveries when neededMaintain dish machine and report any maintenance or operational issues immediatelyQualificationsKitchen or Stewarding experience preferredStrong work ethic and reliability requiredAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamUnderstanding of basic sanitation and cleanliness standards preferredAbility to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to communicate effectively and efficiently with leadership and coworkersFood handler certification required as of start dateAbout Auberge Collection Auberge Collection is a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences and private clubs.
