Registered Nurse (RN) PreOp/PACU

Insight Surgery Center, an affiliate of SCA Health, is actively hiring an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) PreOp/PACU to join our high-performing perioperative team.

This role is ideal for a clinically strong RN who thrives in a fast-paced, outpatient surgical environment and is passionate about patient safety and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patient status throughout the post-anesthesia recovery phase
• Develop and implement individualized perianesthesia plans of care
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Provide accurate, concise, and thorough hand-off reports to interdisciplinary teammates
• Ensure compliance with patient safety standards, clinical protocols, and regulatory requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support efficient patient flow and team success

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state of Colorado or compact license, in good standing
• Minimum one (1) year PACU experience preferred (perioperative experience strongly preferred)
• BLS/BCLS certification required (must be current or obtained within 90 days of hire)
• ACLS certification required (must be current or obtained within 90 days of hire)
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included in the facility's scope of services (must be current or obtained within 90 days of hire)
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented ambulatory surgery center environment
• Specialty certification in Perianesthesia or Perioperative Nursing preferred
