Full Time Baker

Job Overview A full‑time position responsible for baking products according to standards, processing and packaging Fresh Foods products in accordance with Fresh Foods Standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service, unloading stock, and reloading salvage. Responsibilities Prepare dough, inspect quality, and bake products to company standards. Process, package, and stock Fresh Foods items. Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment. Assist customers with product inquiries and purchases. Unload incoming stock and load salvage as needed. Personal Skills Exceptional interpersonal skills and a willingness to participate in required training to increase customer satisfaction and sales. Education and Experience High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple English instructions and correspondence. Ability to present information to customers and associates who only speak English. Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two‑digit numbers and to perform such operations using units of American money and weight measurement. Reasoning Ability Apply common‑sense understanding to follow detailed written or oral instructions and to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Certifications and Training Complete company training, including new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service, safety, food safety, and product knowledge. Physical Demands Regularly stand, walk, use hands to handle, reach, talk, hear, taste, or smell. Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Regularly lift and move up to 30 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds). Reach from 6–72 inches. Requires close vision, color, and depth perception. Work Environment Moderate to loud noise level. Frequent exposure to hot, cool, and extreme cold, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
