Functions well in a team environment, contributing to and supporting organizational goals and initiatives. Desire to be part of the development of a world-class neurosciences program and a growing Neurosurgery and Neurology teams. Practice Overview Currently, the team consists of three Neurointerventionalists, with plans to expand to four. The ER has over 150,000 visits per year, 24/7 Critical Care, Hospitalist and Trauma coverage. NGMC Gainesville is a Comprehensive Stroke Center covering over 2000 stroke and TIA patients annually. 28 operating rooms including the da Vinci Surgical Biplane Endovascular Suite with a second biplane suite being built. 150-200 thrombectomies per year. Four neuroscience equipped operating rooms with Medtronic stealth capabilities. Dedicated stroke and neurosurgery inpatient units A fully equipped Neurophysiology Lab O-Arm Surgical Imaging System 16 bed MICU and 18 bed Neuro Intensive Care Unit staffed 24/7 by critical care and Neuro critical care physicians. Outstanding inpatient support including Neuro-hospitalist .
