IT Support Specialist II

We are seeking a highly motivated IT Support Specialist II to join our IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, customer-focused IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex technical issues. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, take ownership of problems, and is interested in growing into a Systems Administrator role over time. This position requires full-time onsite support and will serve as a key member of the IT team, providing technical assistance, endpoint management, application support, and user administration across a Microsoft-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level II technical support for end users, including hardware, software, operating system, and application troubleshooting.
• Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and escalations through the Atlassian Jira ticketing platform.
• Administer and support Microsoft Windows desktop environments.
• Perform user account administration and support within Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
• Manage endpoints through Microsoft Intune, including enrollment, configuration, compliance, and ongoing administration.
• Deploy, maintain, and update enterprise applications across the environment.
• Support device lifecycle management, including provisioning, deployment, upgrades, migrations, and replacements.
• Assist with rolling devices into Intune and supporting endpoint modernization initiatives.
• Maintain software currency and ensure applications are updated and functioning properly.
• Support multifactor authentication solutions, including Cisco Duo (preferred).
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and support procedures.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and systems teams on projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong sense of urgency and ownership.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Service Desk, Help Desk, Desktop Support, End User Support, or IT Support role.
• Strong experience supporting enterprise-level Microsoft Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration.
• Experience managing users, groups, permissions, and access within Active Directory.
• Advanced Microsoft Intune experience is required , including:
• Device enrollment and lifecycle management
• Endpoint configuration and policy management
• Application deployment and software distribution
• Software update management
• Device migration and modernization initiatives
• Experience deploying, managing, and maintaining enterprise applications.
• Experience working within a ticketing system, preferably Atlassian Jira.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of issues through resolution.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to support users across all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cisco Duo MFA.
• Previous experience supporting users within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Exposure to systems administration and infrastructure technologies.
• Microsoft certifications related to Intune, Endpoint Management, Azure, or Entra ID.
