As a Recruiter at The Menta Education Group you will source and present viable employment candidates to hiring managers and follow through with candidate resolution.

This is a newly-created position constructed to meet the needs of our growing organization. The Menta Education Group is over 1000 employees strong!

The Menta Group is a not-for-profit, multi-state organization that provides special education to students aged PK-21. Our mission is to provide innovative solutions to critical problems in education and human services. Our schools provide the social-emotional learning environments that students need to thrive! 

What we believe: 

In 1973 we were founded on the notion that 

“Every child has the right to be in school.” 

• Use a variety of talent acquisition resources to obtain employment applications and employment prospects
• Utilize an ATS to document, monitor, and resolve candidate progress
• Post and remove job postings
• Train hiring managers and support personnel on utilization of the ATS system
• Seasonally attend recruitment/career fairs to gather employment prospects and follow through with prospective talent (mileage/travel reimbursement)
• Assist in the online and phone screening process to prepare candidates for interviews
• Schedule interviews
• Follow up on interview feedback and reach a conclusion regarding candidate status
• Initiate the new employment onboarding process

• 2 years of talent acquisition experience, ideally in education or a similar field
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required
• Knowledge of contemporary recruiting practices
• Knowledge of compliance in the employment recruiting industry
• A strong desire for results in acquiring best talent 
• Familiarity with aggregate and non-aggregate job boards
