EPIC Upgrade Specialist

DescriptionKforce has a client that is seeking an Epic Upgrade Specialist in New York, NY.Overview:The Epic Upgrade Analyst supports Epic upgrades and release activities within a managed services environment. This role requires strong technical expertise in a certified Epic application, experience managing multiple upgrade cycles, and the ability to partner effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders.The analyst is responsible for evaluating upgrade impacts, completing build and testing activities, resolving issues, supporting data migration, and communicating risks and dependencies throughout the upgrade lifecycle.Key Tasks:* Support end-to-end Epic upgrades and scheduled release activities* Review Epic Nova Notes and assess application and cross-application impacts* Partner with operational, technical, and client stakeholders throughout the upgrade lifecycle* Complete required Epic build, configuration, testing, issue resolution, and data migration activities* Identify and communicate upgrade risks, dependencies, decisions, and status updates* Troubleshoot application and workflow issues associated with upgrades and releases* Mentor and coach team members while sharing Epic application knowledge and best practices* Deliver high-quality services within established managed services processes, service levels, and accountability expectationsRequirementsRequired* Current Epic certification in the application area supported by the role* 3+ years of hands-on Epic experience, including experience with multiple Epic upgrades* Deep technical and functional knowledge of the primary Epic application area* Working knowledge of related Epic applications and cross-application workflowsExperience supporting the full Epic upgrade lifecycle, including:* Nova Note review* Impact assessment* Operational stakeholder engagement* Build/configuration* Testing and issue resolution* Data migration* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders* Strong client-facing, mentoring, and coaching skills* Ability to work effectively within a managed services environment with defined service levels, processes, and accountability expectationsJob TypeContractCompensation90 - $90
