Apex Therapeutic Services is hiring Certified Occupational Therapists Assistants to work at a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Brooklyn.
This is a full time position
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy to adult and geriatric patients under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist.
- Develop and improve the skills needed for the daily functioning of your patients
- Prepare documentation, progress notes, and discharge summaries as required
- Implement and document patient status under the direction of OT and Rehab Director
- Monitor patient’s performance in therapy activities, providing encouragement
- Supervise patient’s activities to ensure they are done properly
Qualified applicants must:
- Be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program
- Hold licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the State of New York
